The event organized by the Office of Research Support Services focuses on intercultural challenges and effective strategies needed for successful collaboration among professors, postdocs, and doctoral researchers.

How can international teams collaborate effectively? What are the common pitfalls in intercultural communication among professors, postdocs, and doctoral researchers?

In this panel discussion, participants will explore the intercultural challenges that arise in the daily interactions of international teams. The panelists will share their experiences and offer practical strategies for building successful, cohesive teams across cultural boundaries.

The event will be moderated by Dr. Benjamin Brast (Graduate Center at TU Dortmund University). Guests are Dr. Rajkumar Palaniappan (Postdoc at the Institute of Energy Systems, Energy Efficiency and Energy Economics) and Julia Pehle (Head of Subject Area “International Degree Seeking Students” at the International Office).

“Forschung fördern am Mittag”

With the series “Forschung fördern am Mittag”, the Office of Research Support Services offers a forum for topics related to research – for a dialog between researchers, administration, and science management. At the individual events, participants can find out about cross-cutting topics and framework conditions for research activities and discuss them with each other.
