The Center for Research on Education (IFS) at TU Dortmund University is organizing the IFS Virtual Keynote Series, an internationally oriented event discussing current topics in empirical educational research. On January 22, the first event of the series will focus on the challenges and potentials of artificial intelligence (AI) in educational research and teaching.

During the 4th IFS Virtual Keynote Series, Sanna Järvel (University of Oulu, Finland) will present research findings on artificial intelligence in school in her keynote on „Advancing socially shared regulation in collaborative learning with AI“. Afterwards, Phil Winne (Simon Fraser University, Canada) will present his results on the topic of AI in classrooms, discussing the question „How can AI help self-regulated learners learn?“.

The event will take place via Zoom. Participation is free of charge. The full program can be found here.
