The lecture series offers exciting insights into the research areas of the Lamarr Institute for Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Experts from various disciplines talk about current developments in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). The entire lecture series will be held in English. It is primarily aimed at Computer Science students, but is also open to students from all departments of TU Dortmund University.

The series highlights how interdisciplinary, practical, and socially relevant modern AI research is. Participants can experience how cross-university collaboration works, a model that’s increasingly important in both research and industry.

The topics in the lecture series include:

  • Natural Language Processing
  • AI in Planning & Logistics
  • AI in Life Sciences & Healthcare

  • AI in Industry & Production

The lectures take place every Friday from 2.15 p.m. to 3.45 p.m. and will be given by researchers in the Lamarr Institute for Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Bonn and TU Dortmund University. The lectures will alternate between the two locations, held on-site at one location and live-streamed to the other.
