The Hackathon hosted by the BRYCK Startup Alliance is a 2-day sprint designed to position research ideas in a real-world context. Participants can bring their own findings or ongoing projects and collaborate with peers, founders and experts to discover their entrepreneurial potential. The Hackathon aims to identify real-world applications of research ideas and build a strong foundation for future collaborations, ventures, and transfer projects.
At the BRYCK Hackathon, students and researchers spend two intensive days developing concepts that take their research beyond theory. During the Hackathon, participants will work on early innovation concepts, explore concrete use cases and assess industry relevance. Collaborating as teams, they will develop a clear understanding of the application of their ideas and received expert feedback on their first concepts.
The Hackathon is directed at students, researchers and innovators from STEM, life sciences, economics and related fields. Participants are encouraged to bring their own research or idea.
Application is possible until 1 March 2026. Participation is free of charge.
