Biochemical and Chemical Engineering

In Biochemical and Chemical Engineering, students have to tackle all of life’s big and small problems, from clean clothes, clean water, and clean air to colors, cosmetics, medicine, fertilizers, or new forms of energy. In the demanding programs in Biochemical and Chemical Engineering, students learn to translate insights from chemistry or life sciences into technical applications. They lay a broad and solid foundation in mathematics and natural sciences as well as in engineering, training students to be process engineers who can plan, develop, implement, evaluate, and operate biotechnical and chemical processes.
