You have been admitted to a restricted-admission program at TU Dortmund University and now want to accept it? To do so, please first use this checklist to check whether you have all the necessary information/documents ready. Please complete the online enrollment in the campus portal. You will then receive the application for enrollment. Please sign this application and send it with all required documents - within the deadline stated in the application - to the TU Dortmund University. The individual documents to be submitted can be found in the application for enrollment. As an alternative to sending in your application, you can also post your enrollment documents in the mailbox of the Student Secretariat at Emil-Figge-Straße 61 around the clock.
What documents must be submitted for enrollment?

- Documents must always be submitted in the correct form and on time.
- The receipt of documents will not be confirmed! After submitting the documents, it takes a few working days (up to two weeks!) until your data is electronically recorded and the further steps of enrollment take place. After entering your data, you will automatically receive your provisional enrollment certificate and the request to pay the semester fee by mail.
Are there any special enrollment requirements that must be met for your degree program? These may include, for example, language certificates or certification of a successful aptitude test.

Please print out the application for enrollment on both sides (printed on the front and back) and sign it. If you are unable to sign the application for enrollment in person because you are not present at the time, you have the option of issuing a power of attorney to a person you trust. Please use this PDF letter of authorization and follow the instructions contained therein.
If you are already enrolled at TU Dortmund University in the summer semester 2022 or have already enrolled in another degree program for the winter semester 2022/2023, please use the PDF Application for Change of Degree Program to change your degree goal for the upcoming winter semester 2022/2023.
Enrollment and payment of the semester fee
After sending the signed application for enrollment including the required documents in due time (the postmark of the TU Dortmund University is valid), you will receive your enrollment documents from the TU Dortmund University. In addition to a provisional certificate of enrollment, these include the request to pay the semester fee.
Only after payment of the semester fee you are finally enrolled and receive your regular certificate of enrollment as well as the semester ticket NRW/VRR. You will receive both electronically.
