Deutschlandstipendium
Since the 2011/2012 winter semester, TU Dortmund has been offering the Deutschlandstipendium as a funding opportunity for high-achieving and talented students.

“Through the Deutschlandstipendium, we create opportunities: Thanks to the commitment of our regional and international sponsors, students at the Technical University of Dortmund have the chance to focus on their studies and further their personal development. This allows scholarship recipients to develop their talents and become highly sought-after professionals who can find answers to the scientific and societal questions of the future,” said Rector Prof. Manfred Bayer.
In addition to academic achievements and the applicant’s background to date, the Deutschlandstipendium also takes into account social engagement, a willingness to take on responsibility, and any special social, family, or personal circumstances.
The monthly grant amount is 300 euros and is independent of the student’s other income. It is paid for at least two semesters and at most until the end of the standard period of study. Half of the Deutschlandstipendium is provided by private sponsors (companies, associations, foundations, alumni, and private individuals), and the other half by the federal government.
