Rehabilitation Sciences

The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences is the second largest department of special education and rehabilitation in Germany. Individual components of the department’s course offers can also be taken as a minor in the Bachelor’s degree in Educational Sciences and in the Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Research and teaching in the department focuses on the topics of perception and movement, cognition and learning, social and emotional behavior as well as communication and language, all based on the support needs of people with disabilities.
