Application, enrollment and all deadlines at a glance

We are delighted that you have decided to study a Bachelor's degree program at TU Dortmund University.

You can find detailed instructions on how to apply and enroll in our portal for prospective students.

Application for Bachelor degrees with restricted admission for the winter semester 2026/2027 is possible until July 15, 2026.

Please be aware that applicants for a 1st semester in a degree program with restricted admission need to apply through the DoSV (Hochschulstart) first.


Enrollment for the winter semester 2026/2027  is possible until October 9, 2026.

Please note: Some degree programs have specific admission requirements, such as completing an internship or passing an aptitude test beforehand. Please refer to our overview of enrollment requirements.

We are delighted that you have decided to study a Master's degree program at TU Dortmund University.

If you have completed a Bachelor's degree at TU Dortmund University or at another German university, you can enroll for a Master's degree program at TU Dortmund University. Please note the enrollment requirements and the enrollment deadlines for the different Master's degree programs.

Starting in the 2025/26 winter semester, a master's degree in psychology will be offered, for which admission is restricted. Applications were accepted until July 15.

If you have completed your Bachelor's degree abroad, you will find all information on applying and enrolling for your Master's degree at TU Dortmund University via the International Office.

If you are already enrolled at TU Dortmund University and would like to switch to a degree program that does not have restricted admission, please submit an application for a change of degree program together with the required documents listed there by the deadline via the TU Dortmund University campus portal. If you would like to switch to a degree program with admission restrictions, you will need to apply for a spot in the program first. You can find the relevant deadlines on the overview page.
