In the information events, students and prospective students receive basic information about the scholarship landscape in Germany, the respective application procedures and strategies for the application.

Financing studies, study organization, learning strategies and time and self-management as well as scientific work are the topics of the lecture series "Right from the start", which is aimed at first-year students and is conducted online by the Central Student Advisory Service.
The application phase for the next funding period for the Deutschlandstipendium runs from August 15 to September 15. Applications are open to enrolled students of TU Dortmund University, but also to first-year students. In addition to a monthly grant of 300 euros, scholarship holders benefit from contact with their sponsors.
The event will provide information on the framework conditions, the application procedure and the selection process of the Deutschlandstipendium. After the presentation, the participants of the event can clarify individual questions.
This event is a cooperation of the talent scouting and the university marketing department.

Scholarship applicants who have already identified programs for which they would like to apply can work on all texts relevant to the fellowship application during the writing workshops. We also offer online lectures followed by Q&A sessions to help prospective fellows address basic questions about writing their applications. The focus here is on writing letters of motivation as well as the tabular and detailed curriculum vitae.

There you will find information on all aspects of scholarship search and application, overviews with scholarships and much more. Faculty-specific scholarship programs with contact persons can be found on the pages of the respective faculty. The General Student Advisory Service of TU Dortmund University provides comprehensive advice on the topic of student financing, while the Studierendenwerk provides information on the subarea of BAföG. In addition, the AStA advises students on questions of student financing.
