Equality at the TU Dortmund

The central Equal Opportunities Officer supports TU Dortmund University in its mission to promote the actual implementation of equal rights for all genders. In doing so, she particularly takes care of the concerns of women at TU Dortmund University and promotes the reduction of existing structural discrimination based on gender in all status groups.

The student advisor to the Equal Opportunity Officer supports her in all questions concerning gender equality in the area of studies. She is the contact person for female students at the TU Dortmund University.

The Equal Opportunities Officers of the faculties and institutions are in close contact with the central Equal Opportunities Officer. In accordance with the basic regulations of TU Dortmund University, they represent the latter in the specific concerns of the respective faculty and support her in the performance of her duties. In addition, the Equal Opportunities Officers of the faculties and institutions are contact persons for equal opportunity issues in their faculties.
