Good Scientific Practice

Students as well as researchers at TU Dortmund University are required to maintain integrity in all aspects of their academic activities. They must continuously verify their own scientific methods and results for accuracy. This means that students at TU Dortmund University are obliged to comply with the “rules of good scientific practice” in all exam-related activities.

Compliance with these principles includes working in accordance with the scientific standards of the discipline, providing correct information, consistently challenging results, respecting the intellectual property of others, and not interfering with others’ research activities.
