TU ResearchConnect

With its range of subjects from engineering and the natural sciences to the humanities and social sciences, TU Dortmund University is excellently positioned to address research topics on an interdisciplinary basis.

With the following offers, TU Dortmund University would like to support its scientists in networking across department boundaries and exchanging ideas on research issues.

Would you like to find out more about researchers and their research topics at TU Dortmund University or are you looking for future cooperation partners for joint projects? Then you can get an overview of the diverse research landscape at TU Dortmund University using an expert search.

You go to the Mensa anyway? Then combine this in the future with an interesting conversation about interdisciplinary research and register for the Mensa Lunch Talk. From the registration list, we will select a scientist with similar research interests to eat together in the Mensa. In this way, you can get to know your counterpart's research, and an idea for a joint project may emerge.
If you don't have time for the Mensa, just meet for an espresso.
Registration for the Science Espresso

At this event, you will get to know colleagues from other departments, initially in the context of five-minute conversations, with your conversation partners changing quickly. Afterwards, there will be finger food in a relaxed atmosphere and the opportunity to deepen topics you have started.

The next Science Speed Dating on the topic of climate change: adaptation strategies and transformation processes will take place on May 22 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the lecture hall of the Mechanical Engineering Building III, South Campus. With this Science Speed Dating, we would like to give scientists from all faculties of TU Dortmund University who are working on these topics the opportunity to talk to each other and exchange ideas about their research. If you are interested, please register using the registration form.
