Nagoya Protocol

The Nagoya Protocol is an international agreement that regulates access to genetic resources. The aim is to use and distribute resources and the resulting benefits fairly.

The implementation of the protocol is regulated in EU regulations and in a federal law and is monitored by the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation.

About the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation

Universities are obliged to monitor and document compliance with the regulations and to inform their researchers.

In order to provide its researchers with comprehensive support in this process, TU Dortmund University cooperates with PROvendis GmbH, which is also available as a contract and contact partner for consultations on a case-by-case basis.
