Physics

The Department of Physics offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physics and Medical Physics in addition to Physics for the degree program Teacher Training. The first two years of the program focus on mechanics, the theory of relativity, thermodynamics, electricity and magnetism, optics, and quantum physics. The programs also include extensive training in higher mathematics to lay the foundation for further training and specialization in one of the research areas: solid-state physics, particle physics, accelerator physics and medical physics, but also for a better understanding of a wide range of applications in all areas of technology.
