Insights into research

Around 2,500 researchers at TU Dortmund University make new discoveries, develop innovations and produce exciting results in their research. The research magazine mundo, the video format Research Snapshots and the interview series Spotlight Research provide insights into their work. They provide information about pioneering research projects, offer a look behind the scenes of every day research at the university and share the experiences of scientists.

“mundo” (Latin: in the world) has been published as TU Dortmund University's research magazine since 2003. Once or twice a year, it provides insights into the world of science at TU Dortmund University. Each issue is dedicated to a different main topic. The reports and features on selected research projects are written in an exciting and understandable way, even for non-specialists.

Research Snapshots

The “Research Snapshots” video series offers exciting insights into the scientific world of TU Dortmund University. The various episodes in the series present current projects that researchers at TU Dortmund University are working on within three minutes - and show how they seek and find answers to socially relevant questions of the future.

Spotlight Forschung

Depending on the stage of their career, academics have to deal with different topics in their everyday research life: from A for application to F for future planning. In the interview series “Spotlight Forschung”, researchers at the TU Dortmund University talk about their personal experiences with the challenges of everyday research.
