Overview
The Bachelor's degree program provides a solid foundation for a successful career in computer science. After graduation, a wide range of career prospects await, for example in medicine, the automotive industry, the energy sector or aerospace.
Skills and knowledge
The prerequisite for enrollment is a university entrance qualification (usually the Abitur). Attendance of a computer science course during school or an aptitude test are NOT required.
To successfully complete the course, an interest in technical developments is helpful. An interest in mathematics and logic is an advantage.
Field of activity
After successfully completing a degree in computer science, it is possible to enter many different professional fields. For example, computer scientists are needed in software development, IT consulting, medical technology or in the field of cyber security.
