FAQs about beVinuS

Especially in STEM degree programs, a solid prior knowledge of school-level subject matter is expected.beVinuS, the accompanying virtual zero semester, was created at the TU to support students in refreshing their subject knowledge from school. It is currently aimed at students in the Faculties of Physics and Electrical Engineering and Information Technology.

The beVinuS program is composed of individual beVinuS offerings, which typically include an online self-test to assess your knowledgeas well as needs-based support offers. These support services will be recommended to you at the end of the test based on your assessment results. In addition to subject-specific courses, particularly in mathematics, you can also choose from a pool of cross-disciplinary courses.

You can find the beVinuS offerings on Moodle, where you can usually work on them directly. You will receive access to the Moodle course through the lectures in your degree program, where the initial online tests will also take place. Cross-disciplinary offerings are also integrated into Moodle, and you can find them in the beVinuS program as well. Additionally, beVinuS offers optional in-person support services, which are also listed in the beVinuS program.

In general, the beVinuS offerings are designed to accompany your studies and can be worked on flexibly at any time.
