Deutschlandstipendium
Since the winter semester 2011/2012, TU Dortmund University has been offering the Deutschlandstipendium as a funding opportunity for high-performing and talented students. Here you can find further information.
In addition to academic achievements and previous career, the Deutschlandstipendium should also take into account social commitment, willingness to take on responsibility, or special social, family, or personal circumstances.
The monthly grant is 300 euros and is independent of the student's other income. It is paid for at least two semesters and at most until the end of the standard period of study. Half of the Deutschlandstipendium is provided by private sponsors (companies, associations, foundations, alumni, private individuals) and half by the federal government.

"Thanks to the commitment of our regional and international sponsors, students at the Technical University of Dortmund have the opportunity to focus on their studies and strengthen their personal development. In this way, scholarship holders can develop their talents and become sought-after specialists who can find answers to scientific and socially relevant questions of the future," says Rector Prof. Manfred Bayer.
