 The second decision - market of opportunities: Orientation in case of study doubts.
From the Central Student Advisory Service

The event is aimed at all students who have doubts about their studies or are considering dropping out.

On this day, you will have the opportunity to obtain comprehensive information and personal advice. In addition to the General and Psychological Student Advisory Service of TU Dortmund University and FH Dortmund University, experts from the
  • from the university team of the Dortmund Employment Agency,
  • the Dortmund Chamber of Crafts,
  • the Dortmund Chamber of Industry and Commerce and
  • of the Dortmund Student Union.
They will answer your questions about study alternatives, training and career prospects and student financing.

You can also be inspired by short keynote speeches and receive valuable tips for your decision-making process. Take the opportunity to discover your options and plan the next steps in shaping your personal future. The event is free of charge and open to all students. We look forward to your visit!

From the Central Student Advisory Service
  • What to do if you have doubts about your studies?
  • Who can you turn to if you have unanswered questions?
  • How can you deal with dissatisfaction with your studies?
These and other questions will be discussed at the Central Student Advisory Service's multi-day workshop. In this way, students who have doubts about their studies can work towards a well-founded second decision regarding their choice of studies and career.

The workshop is aimed at all students
  • who are dissatisfied with their study situation,
  • want to change their subject or university or
  • want to drop out of university altogether.
As part of the workshop, participants receive information on possible causes of their doubts about their studies as well as support in making decisions regarding their professional future and their chances on the job market.

The four-day workshop takes place partly in Zoom, Moodle but also in person. In addition to information, it offers students time and space for self-reflection in independent self-exploration phases.
