What is it about?
The program can be studied with English in combination with most subjects, e.g., music, sports, art, biology, chemistry, physics, etc.
Content and Language Integrated Learning consists of:
- three seminars (3 CP each)
- a practical language exercise
- a 4-week internship
- a 4-month stay abroad
Why study Content and Language Integrated Learning?

How do I get into the Master’s program?
Proof of successful completion of one of the following degrees must be provided:
- completed Bachelor's degree in English (teacher training at TU Dortmund University) and enrolled in the Master's program in English
at TU Dortmund University, or - completed Master of Education with a major in English at a university in NRW
- a teaching qualification examination, recognized by the ‘Bezirksregierung NRW’
- Admission is granted by the coordinator, Dr. Stefanie Rottschäfer. For this purpose, the Form for Admission must be submitted to Dr. Stefanie Rottschäfer for signature, together with the required documents (Bachelor’s degree certificate and certificate of enrollment).
- The completed form signed by Dr. Stefanie Rottschäfer must then be uploaded to the Campusportal during enrollment.
- After successful enrollment, the study guide can be downloaded.
