The Psychological Student Advisory Service offers a variety of workshops and lectures on diverse topics. Here you can find the events offered in English or in a bilingual format this semester.

Workshop Series “Exam Survival Kit”
Whether it’s the beginning of the semester or just before exams – good planning and preparation can help you stay organized and approach your studies with more calm and confidence.
Our four-part workshop series supports you in structuring your studies and preparing for exams in a focused and effective way.
You can attend all sessions or just pick the ones that suit your needs best.

Speedconnecting – finde neue Kontakte auf dem Campus!
The concept of speed dating is a tried-and-tested icebreaker for meeting new people. The psychological student advisory services of the Studierendenwerk and TU Dortmund University make use of this as part of the Speed Connecting event. Whether you want to meet new people or are looking for a study buddy, a few rounds of Speed Connecting will allow you to build completely new connections.
At last semester’s event, accompanied by snacks and drinks, various ideas came up about what students can experience for free in Dortmund to help these new connections last. German and English ist spoken.

Creative Connections – Gemeinsam kreativ sein und neue Menschen kennenlernen
Being creative brings people together. We want to make the most of that together with you.
We’re creating a space where you can engage in creative activities together—whether in familiar ways or perhaps in entirely new ones—and try out different approaches. Even if you’re a bit shy, crafting together provides a great icebreaker to start a conversation. German and English ist spoken. With cookies and tea, the ice is broken in no time. Together, we’ll create Christmas decorations to adorn the Christmas tree in the foyer or your own home.
To help us prepare, the Psychological Student Advisory Service Team looks forward to your registration.
You’re also welcome to sign up spontaneously on the day of the event!
