Research Data Management at TU Dortmund University
Research data management (RDM) ensures the sustainable availability and re-use of research data from all disciplines and goes far beyond simple storage.
RDM is a core component of good scientific practice. TU Dortmund University offers its researchers support in the form of a central research data management service and is currently developing university-wide processes and an interdisciplinary technical research data management infrastructure.
The range of support includes resources and personal advice on
- Local research data management and appropriate data curation
- Research on and use of suitable repositories
- Creation of data management plans
- Data publication
