The "Krisenzentrum Dortmund" is a specialized counseling center to which all citizens of Dortmund can turn for short-term, free counseling in acute life crises, suicidal thoughts, and after a suicide attempt.

Trained volunteers are available in the telephone counselling service day and night. All problem areas can be discussed there and the respective situation of the caller is the focus of the telephone call.

The Parents' Helpline is aimed at mothers and fathers who want to get specific advice in an uncomplicated and anonymous way. Throughout Germany, counselors can be reached at the toll-free number 0800 111 0550 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Mondays to Fridays and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The Women's Counseling Center Dortmund offers resource-oriented and stabilizing counseling for women over the age of 18. In the event of family, personal or professional difficulties or crises, the Women's Counseling Center is the place to go. This is especially true in cases of domestic or sexualized violence.
