Information & Valuable Exchange with Ambassadors
At the outset, the students were given an overview of the foundation’s mission statement, funding opportunities, and the selection process. Subsequently, the individual components of the written application, the requirements for the application materials, and the importance of personality and social engagement were explained. Another key focus was the selection seminar, whose format and components—interviews, a presentation, and a group discussion—were presented in a practical manner. In addition, alternative scholarship and funding opportunities, as well as other financing options, were highlighted.
Particularly valuable was the personal exchange of experiences with the two ambassadors from the Studienstiftung—a current and a former scholarship recipient. During the open Q&A session, participants were able to ask individual questions about the application, the selection process, and the benefits of receiving funding, and to benefit from the speakers’ personal experiences.
The event not only provided the prospective students with in-depth information about the application process but also encouraged them to approach their applications with confidence and actively pursue the opportunity to receive funding.
