Prospective Squad of TU Dortmund University

In many sports, the qualifying competitions and nominations only take place shortly before the FISU Games. The athletes who have their sights firmly set on a starting place and are studying at TU Dortmund University are presented here:

Karolina Mia Haas / Athletics

Karolina is studying Special Education at TU Dortmund University and is hoping for a starting place in her favorite discipline, the 800 meters, at the FISU Games. As the newly crowned German university champion over this distance, she is looking forward to gaining further international experience.

Verena Meisl / Athletics

Verena is studying Mechanical Engineering at TU Dortmund University. She would like to compete in the 1500 meters at the FISU Games and use the unique atmosphere to surpass herself. She is looking forward to meeting athletes from all over the world who, like her, do sport and study at the same time.

Noel Jaschke / Rowing

Noel is studying Economics at TU Dortmund University. He has already competed in the single scull at the 2023 World University Games in Chengdu. At this year's edition, he would like to make it into the double sculls or mixed double sculls and win a medal with his team.

Jakob Stade / Athletics

Jakob is studying Medical Physics at TU Dortmund University and is trying to qualify for the FISU Games in the 800-meter race. Taking part would be a great success for him with the special incentive of competing at such an event in front of a home crowd.
