Markus Neuhaus

Markus Neuhaus, born in 1972, has been Chancellor of TU Dortmund University since September 2024. The Chancellor is responsible for budget management and university administration.

Before taking office, Markus Neuhaus was Director Human Resources at TU Dortmund University and has been associated with the university for around 30 years. After graduating in public administration, he began his career in 1996 as a clerk for human resource affairs. In 2004, he was promoted to Head of Section and six years later he became Deputy Director of Corporate Center. From 2020, he was Director of the Corporate Center Human Resources and was elected Chancellor of TU Dortmund University for an eight-year term in June 2024.
