Office of Research Support Services
The Office of Research Support Services offers advice, information, and support for researchers at TU Dortmund University regarding questions related to the general cross-disciplinary framework for research. This includes, in particular, the acquisition of third-party funding and the strategic design of individual research careers.
- The office’s advisory services in the area of funding include information and help with all national and international funding bodies, a strategic editing service as well as assistance with the application process.
- TU Dortmund Graduate Center is the central service facility for early career researchers. Here, researchers from all disciplines – from doctoral students to junior professors – can find cross-disciplinary advice as well as training and networking opportunities.
- The Project Management team has extensive experience in the administration of coordinated collaborative EU projects and places this expertise at researchers’ disposal.
Through information services and events, the office also keeps TU members up to date about current funding initiatives, training measures, and other topics in the research landscape. It acts as a contact point for all questions concerning applications and third-party funding, advises on procedures and processes, and puts researchers in touch with the right people in University Administration.
