What is it about?

Are maths and biology among your preferred subjects?

Do you want to solve real-world problems?

Are you interested in following the path from gene to product?

Interest sparked?

In this degree program, students work with topics such as:

  • diverse courses: from fundamental biology and calculus to process design and control
  • solid training in process engineering
  • curriculum integrates computational courses and hands-on experience in laboratories
  • develop solutions for real-world problems
  • learn to work in a project team

Suitable for you?

  • willingness to perform
  • mathematical abilities
  • curiosity
  • self-discipline
  • technical understanding
  • trying out new technologies
  • developing creative solutions
  • doing research
  • programming/coding

Anything to do before the studies?

In the "test tu do bci" online-self-assessment of the BCI department, you will learn everything about the requirements and prospects of the program. In around 80 minutes, you will complete tasks relating to maths, technical understanding, logic as well as subject interest and motivation. You will then receive a certificate of participation and tips on how to fill any gaps in your knowledge.
