Do you want to work with people with disabilities and empower them? Do you want to shape the environment to enable participation?

How can you use music, movement, digital media, and assistive technologies to help reduce impairments?

How is the digitalization of society changing the lives of people with disabilities? And what challenges does this pose?

Interest sparked?

In this degree program, students work with topics such as:

  • history of the concept of disability and societal perspectives on disability
  • methodological foundations (e.g., in research methods, diagnostics, and counseling)
  • employment and health with a focus on inclusion
  • technologies and media for participation
  • cultural education in the context of people with disabilities

Kilian
„What I like most ist the interdisciplinarity–having courses that are completely independent from each other but look at topics from different perspectives.“

  • empathy
  • willingness to help others
  • curiosity
  • ability to work in a team
  • openness towards diversity
  • trying out new technologies
  • getting envolved in social projects
  • social contexts
  • communication and observation
  • topics like equal opportunities and diversity
