Upon entering the "university system", students at TU Dortmund University are supported by talent scouts in integrating themselves into the university world and being able to act academically as a natural part of it.
Workshop: Dos and Dont's when entering university
Students who have just started their studies and still feel uncertain or need a better orientation in the university system will learn to find their way around and deal with the challenges in this workshop. The talent scouting team will present which Dos and Don'ts there are to consider in everyday life at the university. This will be illustrated with small exercises on the "university tools of the trade". The workshop also offers students a place to talk about difficulties and obstacles they encountered at the beginning of their studies. Current dates can be found in our calendar of events.
Campus Exploration 2.0
To help prospective and first-year students quickly find their way around TU Dortmund University campus, the talent scouting team has developed a virtual tour of the North Campus. The exploration tour in the form of an interactive challenge can be used on site or from home. It presents important buildings, institutions as well as the advising network and contains helpful, important information as well as numerous insider tips on studying and campus life.
