Online Elections at TU Dortmund University
This year, elections for the student self-government (StuPa, AAR) and committee elections take place from 1 to 11 June. All students at TU Dortmund University are eligible to vote in the student self-government elections, while both students and the majority of TU Dortmund University employees are eligible to vote in the committee elections.
You can log in to the election platform between 9 a.m. on 1 June 2026 and 3 p.m. on 11 June 2026.

FAQ for Students
1. Students vote for representatives of the Student Parliament (Studierendenparlament, StuPa) and the Autonomous Foreigners Department (Autonomes Ausländer*innenreferat, AAR).
To do so, please log in using your UniAccount in the first form above (“Election of Student Self-Government”) and click on “Log in to the voting system.”
2. Students also elect the following committee members:
Student representatives on the Senate,
Department councils for all groups, and
Representatives of the interests of student assistants.
To do so, please log in to the second form above (“Committee Elections”) using your UniAccount and click on “Log in to the voting system.”
All students who were members of TU Dortmund University as of the cutoff date of April 20, 2026, and who remain members during the election period are eligible to vote.
From 1 June 2026, 9:00 a.m. to 11 June 2026, 3:00 p.m.
Election of the Student Self-Government (StuPa, AAR):
The validly approved list of election proposals can be found on the AStA website and will be posted in the AStA office (Emil-Figge-Str. 50) starting 13 May 2026.
Committee Elections:
The validly approved candidate lists can be found on the ServicePortal under “Candidate Lists” (login required) and will also be posted starting 21 May 2026, at the main reception desks (Zentralpförtner) on the North Campus and South Campus.
FAQ for Employees
Eligible to vote are, in principle, employees who were members of TU Dortmund University as of the cutoff date of 20 April 2026, and who remain members during the election period.
This year, the following employee groups are eligible to vote:
- University teachers/lecturers and academic staff:
vote for the Senate and Department councils
- Administrative and technical staff of the departments:
vote for the Department councils
- Various groups of departmental staff members:
elect the Department Equal Opportunities Officers. Please note that eligible voters and the offices to be filled may vary from department to department.
- All female employees:
elect substitutes to the Central Equal Opportunities Officer for the areas of study, research, and administration/technical services.
From 1 June 2026, 9:00 a.m. to 11 June 2026, 3:00 p.m.
