TU Dortmund University Honors Graduates from Teacher Training

Prof. Wiebke Möhring, Vice President Academic Affairs, Prof. Stephan Hußmann, Director of the Center for Teacher Training at TU Dortmund University, and Guido Baranowski, Chairman of the Association of Friends of TU Dortmund University (GdF), congratulated the graduates on their successful graduation.
Sophie Müller Gil was honored for the best Master's degree in teaching at elementary schools. The award for the best Master's degree in teaching at secondary schools (Haupt-, Real-, Sekundar- und Gesamtschulen) was given to Niklas Peters. The award for the best Master's degree in teaching at grammar schools and Gesamtschulen went to Nana Seeber. Maren Konieczny achieved the best Master's degree in teaching at vocational schools and Lea Mathea was awarded the prize for teaching for special education. As in previous years, the prizes of 500 euros each were provided by the Bernd Jochheim Foundation.
Teacher training at TU Dortmund University
TU Dortmund University is one of the largest training centers for future teachers in North Rhine-Westphalia. About one fifth of all TU students are enrolled in teacher training programs. Every year, around 600 graduates complete their teacher training for one of the five types of schools.
