As in every year, the start and finish areas are located at Martin-Schmeißer-Platz. The officially measured 2.5 km course traverses the Campus Nord and is run once to four times, depending on the discipline. In the 5 km run, as tradition has it, costumed groups will once again take off. Especially ambitious participants are also competing this year for the title of Campus Champ: to achieve this, they must complete the 5 km and 10 km runs as well as the Mathetower Run as quickly as possible.
Late registrations are possible online until at least one hour before the start of the respective discipline. However, the amount of start numbers available for late registrations is limited.

FISU Games Torch Relay at the Campus Run
This year, the Campus Run is part of an international sports event: it is integrated into the official torch relay of the FISU Games (World University Games), which will be held in the Ruhr area in July. Four runners will each carry the torch for 2.5 km during the relay across the campus. For the torch relay, TU Dortmund University has already nominated rower David Keefer, the silver medalist at the FISU Games in Chengdu 2023, and track and field athlete Karolina Haas from this year’s prospects squad for the World University Games. TU students were able to apply via a competition for one of the four relay spots, and another starting spot is still to be allocated. On site, there will also be exciting information and activities related to the FISU Games.
Restrictions on Otto-Hahn-Straße
On the day of the event, the section of Otto-Hahn-Straße between Vogelpothsweg and Friedrich-Wöhler-Weg will be partially closed for westbound traffic. Parking is prohibited there from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., and vehicles parked improperly will be towed. Entrances and exits will be available only to a limited extent.
