Corporate Center Student Services
As a service facility for (prospective) students, the corporate center contributes to safeguarding and enhancing Dortmund’s quality as a university location. This is done through information and advisory services for (prospective) students (Central Student Advisory Services), service-oriented enrollment, admissions, and processing of status matters (Student Registration Office) as well as assistance in examination matters (Central Examinations Office). In addition, the corporate center is responsible for clarifying legal questions regarding examination and study regulations (Academic Affairs).
Central Student Advisory Service provides information e.g. on university admissions and the range of programs offered by TU Dortmund University. It offers general and psychological student counselling as well as talent scouting.
Whether applications for places on programs with restricted admission, enrollment, re-registering, changing program/subject or taking leave of absence or removal from the register of students – the Student Registration Office is the first port of call for (prospective) students for all questions regarding student status and social contributions.
The Central Examinations Office takes care of the students of almost all programs and subjects, regardless of the final qualification. The only exception is the doctoral programs. Among the section’s tasks are, for example, organizing registration for/deregistration from examinations, processing medical certificates/withdrawals from examinations, issuing certificates e.g. for authorities, preparing notifications, assisting the examination boards and issuing transcripts and degree certificates.

In the framework of the Campus Management project, the section coordinates and supports the sub-projects at the Corporate Center Student Services regarding the introduction of the new Campus Management System.
