What can I expect during my studies?
The program is organized into a series of modules designed to build on one another throughout your studies. Students are encouraged to follow the recommended study plan, which outlines the modules assigned to each semester.
The structure of each module can be reviewed in the module manual. It provides detailed information on all modules offered within the degree program, including course content, examination formats and requirements, as well as requirements for participation.
Starting in the fifth semester, the following five profiles are available:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Production Engineering
- Materials Engineering/Materials Testing
- Technical Operations Management
- Modeling and Simulation of Mechanics

What’s next after graduation?

I work, e.g.,
- in automotive engineering
- in pump and compressor engineering
- in work and process planning
- in materials development or materials testing
- in research and development, as well as in the field of calculation
I work as, e.g.,
- production engineer, production planner
- industrial engineers, i.e., engineers who design and structurally improve processes in companies
- manager in small and medium-sized enterprises
- research and teaching scientist
- consultant in industry
