On 4 July, students, staff and guests partied together on TU Dortmund University’s North Campus.
Crowds of people enjoyed the traditional summer festival staged by TU Dortmund University on Thursday, 4 July: Numerous institutions, faculties and departments presented exciting and unusual things and above all invited visitors to join in.

On a lovely sunny day, students and staff had the opportunity to get to know other facets of TU Dortmund University, together with their friends and families. A large number of groups and ensembles saw to a great party mood with some really cool music.

Trampolinists flew through the air, children shot down the roller slide – there was lots going on between Martin-Schmeißer-Platz and Emil-Figge-Straße. From midafternoon onwards, especially the hands-on activities were a popular attraction: Visitors could, for example, compete in bull riding or try out different sports. Kids designed their own tiles or romped around in the bounce house.

International students offered tasty treats on the Mensa bridge with delicacies from their home countries and took their customers on a culinary journey around the world. Like in past years, the Studierendenwerk Dortmund held a barbecue and served up 5,000 of their famous free sausages to guests.
