Coaching Groups for Students
The Psychological Student Advisory Service offers coaching groups on many topics related to everyday study life. These are dealt with in a manageable number of weekly meetings. The challenges of studying are discussed in a resource-oriented and evidence-based manner and skills for dealing with them are developed.
Registration is required. Important details on registration can be found further down below!
The following groups are offered in English.

Together, we will cover topics such as effective work and semester planning, exam anxiety, relaxation techniques, helpful mindsets, and efficient learning strategies.
The goal is to support you in structuring your semester early on, understanding and managing exam-related stress better — so you can approach the semester and exams with greater confidence.

This coaching group is conducted in English. It starts a few weeks into the lecture period and takes place every two weeks. It ends with the lecture period.
The group is aimed at students who are in the final phase of their studies, for example while writing a term paper or thesis, and who want to make steady progress toward graduation. Participants reflect on the progress of their work, exchange ideas with peers in a similar situation, and develop strategies to work more regularly, structured, and effectively. The group also provides support in dealing with writing blocks and other challenges that may arise during this final stage of studying.

The Power Study Group does not require knowledge of German; participation in English is fully possible. For the Power Study Group, we will meet up to study together in a focused, supportive environment. Everyone will work on their own tasks, but within the group – with short motivational breaks to recharge and stay on track.
The Power Study Group takes place every week starting on 24 April, from 12:30 to 16:00.
Each session begins with participants briefly defining their goals for the session.
The remaining time is then used for focused and structured work using the Pomodoro technique, with 25-minute work intervals followed by 5-minute breaks.
