Property rights, exploitation & successes

In addition to research and teaching, the transfer of research results is the third pillar of TU Dortmund University, which exists in the Center for Entrepreneurship & Transfer (CET).

The goals of transfer are to highlight the excellence of research through participation in projects and clusters. In addition, the acquisition of publicly or industrially funded projects for the validation of research results and intellectual property rights, exploitation and licensing of employee inventions and patents, and the support of start-ups based on intellectual property rights with our start-up service.

In order to support and promote the exchange of knowledge and technologies between the business community and society in a variety of ways, the CET serves a large number of high performers and experts from the business community, the city public and the scientific community.
