Budget planning

In the Office of Controlling and Risk Management, the budget funds available to the university are distributed among the departments, central (scientific) institution, the administration and the central office. Different procedures and models are used for this purpose.

Investment planning

The Office of Controlling and Risk Management conducts a needs assessment in all units for the portion of the budget earmarked for investments. The feedback list prioritized by the units is prepared for the Rectorate and submitted for decision.

Expenditure controlling

The Office of Controlling and Riskmanagement uses revenue and expenditure forecasts to determine the respective distribution masses available for budgeting. During the year, the expenditures posted against the budgets provided are monitored in order to be able to take direct countermeasures in the event of any anomalies in expenditure trends.
