Individual Counseling

In individual counseling, the focus is on the student's individual concerns. Confidential and tailored to the needs of those seeking advice, work is done on solving the problem situation.

Most of the consultations are held on site. Alternatively, we also offer counseling sessions digitally.

Appointment

The best way to make an appointment with us is via the telephone consultation hours.

If you are unable to call during telephone office hours, try emailing us: E-mail the Psychological Counseling Service.

Please then indicate whether you would like an on-site or digital appointment. In either case, please indicate which days of the week you are available. An appointment will then be coordinated with you.

We offer an appointment for a first consultation within two weeks if possible. Before vacation periods, it may take a little longer. The further procedure will then be discussed in this meeting.

The Psychological Student Counseling Service is also the contact for acute concerns - these are, of course, a priority. Whether you contact us yourself as a person seeking advice or you are worried about someone: the counselors can also be contacted outside of office hours. If acute crisis intervention is required, we consult with the person seeking advice and organize the possibility of an appointment for crisis intervention at short notice.

The actual length of the conversation depends on your concerns and the situation.

The actual counseling sessions take place by appointment and last 50 minutes.

We plan the number of counseling sessions together with you according to your individual needs. As different as the concerns are, which are brought to the Psychological Student Counseling, as different is also the counseling process.
