Einladung zum Sommerfest der TU Dortmund

Liebe Studierende der TU Dortmund,

am 27. Juni feiert die TU Dortmund ihr Sommerfest! Ab 15 Uhr sind alle Mitglieder und Angehörigen, ihre Familien und Freund*innen sowie Unterstützer*innen und Gäste der Universität herzlich eingeladen. Ich freue mich darauf, viele Studierende, Professor*innen, Mitarbeiter*innen aus Wissenschaft sowie Verwaltung und Technik bei dem Fest zu begrüßen!

Das Sommerfest bietet auch in diesem Jahr wieder ein vielseitiges Programm und neue Orte: Wie immer präsentieren Fakultäten, Fachschaften und Einrichtungen der TU Dortmund Ausstellungen, Mitmach-Aktionen, Experimente und vieles mehr rund um die Emil-Figge-Straße 50 und den Martin-Schmeißer-Platz. Aber in diesem Jahr lohnt auch der Besuch der Straße der Ingenieure (EUnet-Allee), denn das Sommerfest breitet sich in diesem Jahr erstmalig bis zum Gebäude der Fakultät Maschinenbau aus. Für die kleinen Gäste bietet das Sommerfest ein buntes Kinderprogramm. Freuen können Sie sich auch auf internationale Gerichte, die dieses Jahr an zwei Orten angeboten werden – wie üblich auf der Mensabrücke und dieses Jahr auch auf der Straße der Ingenieure. An der Grill-Station des Studierendenwerks werden 3.000 Bratwürste und 2.000 vegane Schnitzel gratis verteilt.

Musikalisch kommen Besucher*innen zwischen 15 und 22 Uhr bei diversen Konzerten auf der Martin-Schmeißer-Bühne und der Bühne an der Emil-Figge-Straße 50 auf ihre Kosten.

Außerdem wird Ihnen auf dem Campus ein Motto begegnen, denn in diesem Jahr wird das Sommerfest Teil der Kampagne „Ich bin TU / Wir sind TU“. Sie können dazu Fotos an den dazugehörigen Selfie-Spots, z. B. auf der Mensabrücke, machen. Zudem sind auch Schlüsselbänder oder Sticker mit diesem Aufdruck erhältlich.

Invitation to the Summer Festival of TU Dortmund University

Dear Students of TU Dortmund University:

TU Dortmund University is celebrating its summer party on 27 June! All members and relatives, their families and friends as well as supporters and guests of the university are cordially invited from 3 p.m. I look forward to welcoming many students, professors, employees from science, administration and technology to the festival!

This year's Summer Festival once again offers a diverse program and new locations: As always, departments, student councils and facilities of TU Dortmund University will be presenting exhibitions, hands-on activities, experiments and much more in the vicinity of Emil-Figge-Straße 50 and Martin-Schmeißer-Platz. This year, however, it is also worth visiting the “Street of Engineers” (Straße der Ingenieure, EUnet-Allee), as the Summer Festival will extend up to the building of the Department of Mechanical Engineering for the first time this year. For younger guests, the Summer Festival offers a colorful children's program. You can also look forward to international food, which will be offered at two locations this year - as usual on the Mensa Bridge and this year also on the Street of Engineers. At the barbecue station of the Studierendenwerk, 3,000 sausages and 2,000 vegan schnitzels will be distributed free of charge.

Between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m., visitors can enjoy music at various concerts on the Martin-Schmeißer stage and the stage at Emil-Figge-Straße 50.

You will also encounter a motto on campus, as this year the Summer Festival will be part of the "I am TU / We are TU" campaign. You can take photos at the corresponding selfie spots, e.g., on the Mensa Bridge. Lanyards or stickers with this imprint are also available.
