Info Letter August 2024

Dear Readers:

After the University Elective Assembly elected Markus Neuhaus as the new Chancellor of TU Dortmund University by a large majority in June, he will now take office at the turn of the month. As long-standing Director Human Resources and with around 30 years of service, he knows our university very well – and vice versa, many employees know him. In order to give all TU members the opportunity to get to meet the new head of the university administration and to learn about his goals, he will give an inaugural talk on 18 October, which is open to the university community.

I am very much looking forward to continuing the trustful cooperation in his new function and I wish him every success in his future tasks – also on behalf of the other five members of the Rectorate.

You can find further news from August in this info letter.

Best regards
Manfred Bayer
President of TU Dortmund University
