On 29 June, TU Dortmund University celebrates its summer party! Starting at 3 p.m., all university members, their families and friends, as well as supporters and guests of the university are cordially invited. I am looking forward to welcoming as many professors, employees in science, administration and technology as well as students as possible to the festival!
This year's summer festival will once again offer a diverse program: Around Emil-Figge-Straße 50 and Martin-Schmeißer-Platz, departments, student bodies and institutions of TU Dortmund University will present exhibitions, hands-on activities, experiments and much more. For the younger guests, the summer festival also offers a colorful children's program. You can look forward to international dishes offered on the Mensabrücke. At the Studierendenwerk grill station, 3,000 bratwursts and 2,000 vegan paninis will be distributed free of charge.
From 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., visitors can enjoy a variety of musical concerts on the Martin Schmeißer stage and the stage at Emil-Figge-Straße 50.
Please note for your time planning: In order to participate in the summer festival, you will be given time off from 2:30 p.m. until the regular closing time, unless there are compelling business reasons not to do so in individual cases.
In order to enable students and teachers to participate in TU Dortmund University’s Summer Festival, I would like to ask all university lecturers to reschedule their classes, if this is possible. Thank you!

The rectorate and all sponsors are looking forward to celebrating with you!
Best regards
