Dear readers,

Prospective students should have the same educational opportunities regardless of their financial situation, social status or origin. The TU Dortmund therefore offers a wide range of support: For example, 228 students currently receive a monthly payment as part of the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship. They were recently able to meet their sponsors at the scholarship celebration.

With the "NRWege ins Studium" program, which the International Affairs department has acquired, refugees can be supported before and during their studies. Last spring, the Society of Friends of TU Dortmund University provided a total of 10,000 euros to help students affected by the war in Ukraine. The TU Dortmund University is also currently offering guest residencies to scientists who are threatened by the war against Ukraine so that they can continue their research.
