Dear Readers:

To put excellent research into practice, we promote transfer and support start-up projects. In this respect, we are among the best universities in Germany, as the national start-up ranking “Gründungsradar 2025” shows: TU Dortmund University currently ranks 8th and has moved up five places. Our UA Ruhr partners also achieved very good results. Those interested in setting up their own business receive support from our Center for Entrepreneurship & Transfer (CET), which also offers a certificate in entrepreneurship for students to teach them the basics of entrepreneurial thinking and acting right up front.

TU Dortmund University cooperates with industry in many ways: For example, regional companies support TU students with a “Deutschlandstipendium” scholarship. Our students also have the opportunity to gain practical experience in numerous projects such as the International Spring Academy.

UA Ruhr Strong in Start-up Support

All three partner universities improved their placement in the German start-up ranking “Gründungsradar 2025” significantly.
