Many of our researchers and students impress with their promising transfer ideas, innovative research approaches, or outstanding academic achievements. As this month shows, they are also successful in applying for funding.
The second Dr. Michael Brenscheidt Transfer Prize was awarded to concepts for repairing steel bridges without closing them, for setting up a private 5G network, and for optimizing supply chains in seaport hinterland transportation. Prof. Benedikt Sabaß has successfully secured an ERC Proof of Concept Grant for his project to reduce methane emissions in cattle farming through feed additives, thereby contributing to climate change mitigation. A total of 233 particularly committed and high-achieving TU students are currently receiving support from the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship program, and they recently had the opportunity to meet their sponsors.
