The use of artificial intelligence is driving technological innovation and changing the way we work. For these reasons, it is important that the responsible use of AI is taught and studied at universities. This month, we launched the Campus-AI interface to enable all students and employees to use ChatGPT-4o anonymously and free of charge to gain experience with this technology. If you have any technical, legal or practical questions, you are welcome to attend the digital information event on Monday, 10 February 2025 (open to all TU members).
The Strategy for the Digitalization of Study and Teaching, which has now been published following a university-wide discussion and participation process, underlines the importance of AI by dedicating a separate field of action to this area. The technological opportunities opened up by AI tools were also demonstrated at the opening of the innoclub in the TechnologieZentrumDortmund last week: Three start-ups that emerged from TU Dortmund University have moved in here, focusing on AI solutions in the fields of construction planning, logistics and information systems.
