The Centre for Study Matters (ZfS) is responsible for all official tasks concerning the students’ studies at this university. The ZfS collects all performance records of the students. Here you have to hand in the certificates of attendance and achievement you get during your study.
Apart from that the ZfS allocates the places for each of the subjects and fields of study. This is not only relevant for subjects with an entry restriction (numerus clausus). The Centre for Study Matters also deals with issuing interim and final transcripts of records and gives advice about education loans from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
In the ZfS all areas of work are bundled, which guarantees that studies at TU Dortmund will progress successfully. The employees are the right contacts for all questions concerning certificates, exam registrations or certificates of matriculation.
