Housing for International Students
At the Technische Universität Dortmund the AStA (Allgemeiner Studierendenausschuss / general students’ committee) helps international students to find housing space. They offer weekly consultation hours but one can simply send an email to coordination.

The members of the joint venture Dortmund Housing Companies have established an internet portal for TU Dortmund’s students. This assistance in finding rooms and apartments is free of charge.
The rooms in dormitories are in high demand. The sooner you apply for a room, the better. Your first contact is the Student Services’ dormitory management; they are responsible for renting the dormitory rooms and help students find rooms and apartments on the private housing market.
